CEYLON RIOTS
STATEMENT BT MR BONAR LAW. (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, July 27. Mr Bonar Law’, in the House of Commons, said that he was unaware whether death sentences on the Ceylon rioters were carried out. Several villages -were required to pay compensation. There was no evidence of German intrigue, though personally ho believed it was possible.
