At the Federal Tea Rooms yesterday afternoon between fifty and sixty lady supporters of this section were entertained at a gift afternoon tea by two of their number. The Princess fMiss Milne) was present, and the time spent in her company added considerably to the popularity already gained by her amongst her many lady supporters. During the afternoon a Limerick competition was held, which brought forward much latent talent, and the judges (Mesdames Armour. Baxter, and McDonald) had difficulty in choosing the best of the many excellent verses. the prizes eventually being- awarded to Miss Groves and Miss Millar. Musical items were acceptably rendered by Miss Radcliffe and Miss -McNulty, with Mr Geo. Pope as accompanist.
