Received July 27, 10.25 p.m. Mr Dengale, secretary of the Amalgamated Engineers, states that he has been informed by the secretary of the English Society of Engineers, that Vickers, Son and Maxim have withdrawn their offer to pay the passages of Australasian engineers.
