Tarr, an English international Rugby player, has been killed in action in i’nmcc. The Rev. A. Mitchell, of Lyttelton, lias been appointed Methodist Chaplain to the 7th Reinforcements. Captain-Chap-lain Mitchell has been closely associated with the volunteer and territorial forces of the dominion for the last ton years, and lias always been most popular with officers and men.
