SERIOUS RIOTS
IN STANDARD OIL COMPANY’S WORKS. (By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright) NEW YORK, July 21. Serious riots, in which many people were wounded, occurred at a strike at the Standard Oil Co.’s works. Mobs attacked the guards with sticks and stones and the guards retaliated with pistol shots. Five thousand men are invoiced; one was killed and fifty are wounded.
