AUSTRALIAN WAR TAX
MUCH SPECULATION EXPRESSED. (By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright) MELBOURNE, July 19. Received July 20, 1 a.m. The Federal Cabinet is considering the proposed war tax. As the Prime Minister (Hon. Andrew Fisher) has stated that none will escape there is much speculation as- to the form the tax will take and if it is to include the small wage-earner.
