THE UXBEATEXABLE TRIUMPH OX TOP AGAIX. The saries et speed tests conducted on New Brighton Beach under tho auspices of tho Pioneer Club on Saturday served to ouco more demonstrate the wonderful consistency, efficiency, and reliability of Triumph -Motor Cycles. On this occasion, in place of handicapping, machines were graded according to cylinder capacity, and started from scratch together. Each event was run over a five mile.T course and there was a good representative field in most of the events. Tim •'Triumph” motor cycle is a 4-h.p. single cylinder machine of only 650 c.e. It was entered in tho classes for private owners, maximum capacity 750 c.c.; trade owners, maximum capacity 750 c.c.; and trade owners, maximum capacity 1000 c.c. For tho 750 c.c. private owners’ event, W. Ilollohon (Triumph) finished first, with D. Moffat (Triumph) second. In the 760 c.c. trade owners’ event O. B. Brown (Triumph) finished first. In the 1000 c.e. event a big 7-10 h.p. twin met the 1 h.p. Triumph driven by G. U. Brown on level terms. The big machine put up a record, covering tho five miles in 4mln 3-lsecs, but the gallant little Triumph, running well over «0 miles an hour, finished only 70 yards behind, a truly wonderful performance considering tho tremendous odds in en-"dne-power.
