Received July 9, 11.45 p.m. The Senate adopted a bill conceding a Saturday half-holiday in Government industrial establishments. Some opposition was offered for fear that private concerns would agitate .for a similar privilege. The Chamber voted £BO.OOO for representation at tho San Francisco Exhibition. The Minister of Commerce hoped that the vexations of the American Customs proceedings would be adjusted shortly.
