POST OFFICE SQUARE.
To the Editor. Sir, I would like to ask if there is any rale of the road observed In the Post Office Square. I mean by riders of bicycles. It is a common occurrence to see half a dozen boys trickriding, dodging in and out of the way of post office callers, and then when someone more bold than the rest threatens the youth he turns his machine and makes a helter-skelter dash for the right-of-way behind the old Colonial Bank. It might be fun for the boy to see people either hug the wall or do a side step over the parapet to get out of his way, but it certainly isn’t pleasant for the unfortunate one in the right-of-way. Might I suggest that a turnstile hj.? placed at the post office end. This would certainly give a degree of safety to nedestrians. Another matter that would add to the comfort o* users of the said right-of-way is the clearing away of the growth of grass that adorns the east side of the passage.—l am, etc., B, June 15.
