POST & TELEGRAPH ARRANGE- I M ENTS. . THE EASTER HOLIDAYS, j GOOD I'll IDA V. 10 th APRIL, 1914. j I POST OFFICES. All Post Offices will be closed. All mails will close at 5 am. A delivery of correspondence will be made over the counter between 7 p.m. and S p.m. the preceding Thursday. TELEGRAPH OFFICES. All Offices will be closed with the following exceptions:— Invercargill and Bluff: Open 9.30 am. to 10 am., and 5 p.m. to 5.30 pjn. Gore: Open 5 p.m to 5.30 p.m. TELEPHONE EXCHANGES.
All country Exchanges closed except as follow: — ■ Invercargill: Open as usual. Bluff: Open 9 turn, to 10 a.m. Gore: Open !) a.m, to 10 a,ni. and 5 p.m. to G p.m. EASTER MONDAY. 13th APRIL, 1914. POST OFFICES. Post Offices will be open in all branches, except Money Order and Savings’ Bank, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. only. All mails usually closed after 8 a_m. will close at that hour. There will be no delivery by lettercarriers; but a delivery of all correspondence will be made over the counter between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. the preceding Saturday. TELEGRAPH OFFICES. All Offices will be open between 9 a.m. and. 10 a.m. Invercargill: Open 9 rum. to 4 p.m,, and 7 p.TTU ( midnight. Bluff: Open 9 a,m. to 10 a.m., and 7 p.m. to S p.m. Gore; Open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. TELEPHONE EXCHANGES. All country exchanges closed. Invercargill, Bluff and Gore: Qpcn as usual. Mails close at Chief Post Office, Invercargill, as under; — Kor Christchurch and intermediate offices, daily ?t 5.30 a.m. and 1 p.m. For Dunedin, daily at 5.30 a-m., 1 and 3 45 p.m. ~ For Wellington and North, daily at 5.30 a.m. For New South Wales and Queensland, via Auskland, every Saturday at 5.30 a.m. _ p'or Australian Slates, via Bluff, every' Monday at 2.30 p.m., and via Wellington every Thursday at 5.30 a.m. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8. For United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via London (due in London about May 9 1) for specially addressed correspondence only (except newspapers over Soz in weight and prepaid at Id each), connecting with s.s. Kaikoura at Wellington. close at 5.30 a.m. Parcels close at 5 p.m. on 7th. P’or Australian States (due in Sydney \pril 13). Ceylon. India, China, Japan. Straits Settlements, Mahritious, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe (due in London May 17), connecting with s.s. Maunganui, at Wellington, close at 5.30 a m Money orders close at 4 p.m., registered letters and parcels at 5 p.m. on 7th ’ THURSDAY. APRIL 5. For Canada and United States of America Continent of Europe and United Kingdom (due in London May 11), via Vancouver, 'Japan; and Fanning Island, per s.s. -Niagara from Auckland, close at 5.30 a.m. Money orders closes at 4 p.m., registered letters at 5 p.m on Sth, J.
