in' GLADSTONE AND COLDSTREAM. Instructed bv the trustees in the estate <>f the late Mr L T. Thomson. Messrs Win Todd anal Co. held an important sale of Gladstone and Coldstream sections in their auction rooms on Saturday night. Altogether there, were 44 sections offered, varying in size from 91 poles to over a quarter of an acre with frontages to Ouke Sirnprin. Swinion. .Runiris aQu Lees 'streets and Ellis road. There was an unusually large attendance, competition was keen, and the sections were ail sold at. fairly satisfactory juices. The highest price realised (,£lßl,l was for a section situated at the corner of Duke and Simprin streets, while the average price for sections was-close on £ll4 each. The localitv of these sections will probably become one of the most popular residential areas in Invercargill, and havers should in a very short lime piolit by their investment.
