The steamer Makambo brings news Ihat the natives of the New Hebrides are very restless, especially on Maiskaia Island, where early in the month seven native missionary teachers were Killed an eaten by a tribe known as Big Nambus. The natives also raided and burnt a store kept by an Englishman named Farrell who, with his wife, escaped to Wallis Island. ____
