FULLERS' PICTURES. The attendance at the Zealandia Hall ■was bis during the last three nights and the matinee brought probably a record attendance of young folk, the attraction being the “Life of Christ” and the fins supporting pictures. To-night the now series of films announced for presentation has an advance reputation as it has proved highly attractive in the four centres where it lias been shown lately. The feature drama, “Between man and beast." is over four thousand feet long, and is the product of the Cines .studio.-, of Rome, which produced "Quo VadisV" The story deals with the ill-luck of a young Italian oflicer and the unswerving devotion of his wife, even to following him to the jungles of Hindustan. Some of the scenes arc said to be of great splendour, and the action is reported to be convincing. The supporting numbers are—“Guumont Graphic." with illustrated events from far and wide; "Daddy's Soldier Boy.” drama: Floating Woods in North Sweden." industrial and scenic: "New Zealand Animated News.” topical: and a farce-comedy by the Keystone Company. "A Bad Game." New music by the orchestra will complete the entertainment. THE LYCEUM. A rollicking crowd of juveniles filled the spacious Lyceum on Saturday and the evcn'ng's attendance reached a fine total. The new programme to be unfolded for the first time this evening promises to reach high water marl: in pictorial excellence. The star dramatic feature of the series is a nerw conception by the Vitagraph Co., “The Lost Millionaire." The story centres round tire scheme of a young millionaire who is besieged with admirers, but who docs not make love because he is not loved for himself alone. The management make a special announcement that next week a wonderful picture eclipsing all previous motion picture effort will be screened. "The Miracle,” by Max Remhardt, is six thousand feet, and is exhibited by special arrangement with Mr Beaumont Smith, who has the solo rights. Tire story of Sister Megildis is a profoundly impressive and' beautiful one resembling "Faust" in its conception, and is one of the most costly pictures made, fifty thousand pounds being spent on its production. The management will make further announcements concerning it. COMIC OPERA SEASON*. The box plans for “The Arcadians," to be produced on Wednesday, when the O'Connor Opera Co. will make a onenight appearance in Invercargill, will be opened at_the Dresden this morning, and heavy advance bookings may be anticipated. "The Arcadians” will be staged on Wednesday on an elaborate scale, and interpreted by an exceptionally strong :
