SOLIDIFYING LIBERALISM. (Per United Press Association.) OAMARU, March 5. For the purpose of solidifying the forces of Liberalism in view of the forthcoming general election, a meeting of members of the party was held last night, considerable enthusiasm being shown. It was decided to ask three or four of the party’s best platform men to address a public meeting to be held shortly. Nothing has been done yet as to the selection of a candidate.
