KILLED BY LIGHTNING. (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright)] « PARIS, Sept. 30" r Lightning demolished three houses at Cferebere, and eight persons were killed and many injured. DUE TO AN EXPLOSION. PARIS, September 39. The collapse of houses at Cecbere waj due to an explosion of petrol at a store. Fourteen persons ttere killed and thirty injured. CAUSE OF THE EXPLOSION. PARIS, October L Received October 2, 12.15 a.m. The river was flooded where petrol and carbide of calcium was stored. A gas formed and Ignited, and blew ■up two houses, and fired two others. Five families were buried in the ruins, and their bodies have not yet been recovered.
