I-.- 11 a.m. Tite suffragettes have victimised a large number of public and professional men throughout the country by sending a leaflet in tin envelope containing a halfpenny, whereupon the Post-olfice in each instance surtaxed the recipient sixpence for sending tin unregistered letter containing coin through the post. Uproarious scenes occurred at Miss Kinney’s meeting at Nottingham. Uireworks' and detonators were discharged, banners destroyed and windows smashed.
