FULLERS* PICTURED The programme (n he presented at the matinee this afternoon and for the last time to-night, is in every way worthy of the high standard set by this management. and one that should meet with the favour of those who will view its two last appearances. “The Broken Sword" is a. very fine picture, and met with a hearty welcome from the large audience which was present at the Zealandia Hall last night. HAYWARD'S PICTURES, The current programme is a strong and well varied one. "Memon's Tragic: Leap" is the main attraction, and justified the management's selection as Hie star picture. There arc many other pleasing features about the programme, flood audiences should witness its screening at the matinee this afternoon, and at its last appearance to-night, "CONTINUOUS PICTURES"—MUNICIPAL THEATRE. The International Continuous Pictures open in the Municipal Theatre next Wednesday evening, starting at S o'clock, when a brilliant programme of star subjects will he screened for the first time in Invercargill. The Continuous Picture theatres are all the rage throughout the world, and no doubt the result of this enterprise will meet with deserved success. a,s the pictures arc strpplied "exclusively hy the Greater J. D. \\*illiams Amusements Company, Sydney, who are the greatest film dealers in Australasia. The management, wh'eh is in the hands of Mr A, Johns, intends to project nothing but the latest and best in the motion picture world, with a complete change of programme every Wednesday and Saturday. The prices charged will he the same as the Continuous Picture Shows in other parts of the Dominion: Adults fid to all parts and children 3d. The daily sessions will be from 2 p.m.. till e.30 p.m.. night sessions from 7 o'clocktill 11 p.m. Next Wednesday ttbe opening night) the doors will be open at 7.3 ft. The theatre will be dimly lighted with masked globes which does away with unpleasant darkness. Every convenienee will be studied for the benefit of patrons. CONTINENTAL FAIR. Despite the great number of counter attractions and the inclemency of the weather, there was a very large attendance at the Continental Fair last night, and as on the previous night good busi-no-ss was reported. The dancing tableaux under Professor Borzoni continue to meet with great success, and also the entries for the shooting competitions grow larger each night. The tug-of-war was witnessed hy a large and enthusiastic audience and the pulls last night attracted great attention. The Heddon Bush light and heavy-weight teams proved their superiority over the Athletic Football Club and the Sailing Club teams respectively. To-night the Awarua Rowing Club (light-weighti meet the Invercargill Gasworks team, and the ; Awarua Rowing Club (heavy-weight) 1 meet ,1. H. Kirk and Co.
