■A POLITICAL HERESY HUNT.
THE FIGHTING PLATFORM. (By Telegraph.—Press association. —Copyright). SVDN EV, February 10. The Labour Conference, after much bickering, appointed a committee to inquire into the Government’s attitude on the Blnyney by-election and other matters. State Ministers have decided to ignore tills so-called heresy hunt. The conference adopted the following fighting platform: - The abolition of the Legislative Council; the abolition office of State Governor; full citizen rights for women; effective land settlement, including the cessation of Crown land sales and the taxation of land values; nationalisation of health, including free medical, surgical, and nursing services. State maintenance of hospitals, special care of maternity cases, and pi otection of child life; equitable industrial laws: complete free educational facilities; the establishment of State ironworks; and local government reform, embracing full adult suffrage.
