BOROUGH OF INVERCARGILL. SPECIAL ORDER. THE Invercargill Borough Council hereby resolves that the Council accept from Sir Joseph Ward surrenders of all his leases of Market reserves (with the consent of all necessary parlies) upon the terms that the lands are re-subdivided in accordance with the plan now before the Council and new leases thereof according to such plan offered for sale by public auction-in accordance wit it the law for the term of 14 years from the Ist day of April I'll 3 with provision for renewal, valuation of rent and improvements and in all other respects similar to the surrendered leases at the upset rentals and payment of valuations for improvements according lo the appraisement of the valuers of the parties dated Mio ISth day of January 1913 : the rents Payable in respect of anv leases expiring before the commencement of the new leases for the intervening periods to be in accordance with the said appraisement. Any person other than the said Sir .i. G. Ward becoming a lessee shall be entitled to possession on Ist October 1913 and shall have no right to the railway sidings. In the event of the leases or any of them not being sold at the said auction the said Sir J. G. Ward shall be bound to take the new leases, or such as shall not be sold, at the rents fixed bv the. said appraisement.
