Received February 10. 9.25 p.m. On the reassembling of the conference between the Newcastle coal-owners and the Miners' Federation to discuss whether a Joint committee or some similar tribunal should he formed to deal with mining disputes, tiie owners announced that they were not prepared to proceed •with the business till they knew what the Government Intended doing. The Conference then adjourned until Wednesday.
