At the sitting of Die Empire Trade Commission a deputation from the Manchester cotton trade, representing a capital of £ 14,000.000, opposed an Empire trade mark. It was pointed out Dial Die effect would be that ail traders would be at Die mercy of Die Empire Trade Mark Association, who would bo able to dictate terms in regard to Die use of a trade mark.
