WYNDHAM NOTES

(From Our Own Correspondent). A pretty wedding was solemnised in St. Mary's Anglican Church,,'on Faster Monday morning, when Mr Adam Hunter (third son of the late Mr and Mrs .Adam Hunter, of South Wyndhara) and Miss Mary Theresa Xutsford • (second,, daughter of Mr and Mrs Samuel Xutsford, of Wymlham) were united in the bonds- of matrimony. As the bridal party entered the church "How Welcome was the Call” was sung. The marriage ceremony was impressively performed by Rev. H. Blathwayt in the presence of numerous friends and relatives. The bride was beautifully attired in a cream taffeta dress. She wore the , customary veil and orange blossoms. The bride was attended ‘ by her sisters. Misses Ruby (who wore a pretty grey dress and hal to match) and Olidys. (he lastnamed .being a flower-girl and wearing while silk. Mr Joseph Hunter ( brother of the bridegroom i was best man. At the conclusion of the service Mendelssohn's Wedding March was placed by Miss Mary Marsh. At the wedding breakfast Rev. H. Blathwayt presided and the usual toasts were duly honoured. The bridegroom's gift to the bride teas a handsome gold bangle, to the maid a set of furs, and to the flower-girl a gold brooch. The bride’s gift lo the bridegroom was a travelling rug. Mr and Mrs Hunter left amid shows of confetti and good wishes, by the express, en route for a lour of the Xorth Island. The bride's travelling dress was a navy blue costume, with black anil white facings: black bat. In the evening a goodly number of young people were entertained at a dance by Mr and Mrs Xutsford.
