IT IS HEREBY PUBLICLY' NOTIFIED that the Annual Meetings of Householders in the several School Districts of the Education District of Southland for the Election of a School Committee in each sucli District respectively, will be hold on MONDAY', the 22nd day of April, 1912. at half-past seven o'clock p.m.; and that the ncwly-electcd Committee in each District will hold its first meeting immediately on the termination of the public meeting of Householders. Special attention is directed to Section 110 of "The-Education Act, 1908." which provides that in Districts where the average attendance of the School for the year ending 31st December, 1911, has not exceeded twenty-five children, the Electors shall nominate and elect a Committee of five members; where the average attendance has exceeded twenty-five and lias not exceeded two hundred, seven members shall be elected; arid where the average attendance has exceeded ■ two hundred, nine members shall be elected. PLACES OF MEETING : The Respective Schoolhouses In each School District. NOMINATIONS : Householders are requested to forward In writing so as to be delivered to the Chairman of the, School Committee of their Districts not later than 8 o’clock p.m. of MONDAY', 15th April, the names of persons, being resident householders, nominated by them for election to serve upon the Committee for the year next ensuing. Such nomination shall be signed by the. proposer and by the candidate, and must be in the form set forth in the ninth Schedule appended to “The Education Act, 1908,” (a copy of, which appears below), or to the effect‘thereof.
