The manager of Dr Peacock's farm gave evidence that the morning after Miss Davies disappeared Dr Peacock made a big fire on the farm. ACCUSED COMMITTED. MELBOURNE, Sept. 20. Received Sept. 20, 10.20 p.m. Dr Peacock has been committed for trial for the alleged murder of Miss Davies. Bail has been refused.
