DEATH OF M. STOLYPIN

Received September 22. 12.5 a.m. The King has telegraphed condolences to the Czar on the death ot M. Stolypin. The Continental press eulogises M. Stolvpiu*K patriotism and devotion. ST. PETERSBURG, September 20. M. Stolypin’s deatli has caused consternation throughout the counti). Theatres have been closed and churches are celebrating requiems. The body will be interred at Kicff on Friday. M. Kohovtsoff (Minister of Finance) is likely to succeed It. Stolypin.
Bogroff, the assassin, received Ms revolver from the Chief of the Kieff Police. Tito latter has been dismissed. Bogroff i.s ill, .suffering from rough treatment-by theatre-goers. Shortly before his death M. Stolypin requested that, ills room lie brilliantly lighted. With his last remaining strength lie raised himself on ills bed and smiled at those around him.
The Czar attended mass for the repose of M. Stolypin’s soul, and comforted the widow and family.
