ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
(Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 10. George Ruddock, about seventy years of ago, was found dead in his garden at Sefton last night. He had been dead about a week. There were no marks of violence on him. An inquest was held this afternoon into circumstances connected with the death of 'William Robert Bright, sixtyfour years of age, who died suddenly last night. Dr Fenwick said that ho had made a post-mortem examination and that death was due to sudden failure of a very diseased heart. There were evidences of syrosis. The Coroner returned a verdict that-the deceased died from heart disease. LEVIN, Sept. 16. Sarah Gyles, wife of .). Gyles, of Ohan, met her death yesterday on the road south of Levin, A motor cyclist, Thomas Murphy, hud passed her trap, and just afterwards found the horse had shied and precipitated both occupants to tin* road. The husband was merely .shaken, but on medical aid being summoned the wife was found to be dead. It is surmised Dial death was caused by shock to the system.
