ST. PAUL’S WESLEY GUILD.
The usual meeting of the St. Paul's Wesley Guild "'as held in the vestry on Wednesday evening, the 13th. Owing to the purely business nature of the meeting, and to the Junior Endeavour bazaar In aid of Foreign Missions being In the schoolroom adjoining, only about 13 members were present, the Rev, Grigg presiding. Mr W. Clothier was chosen to represent the Guild at the annual social in connection witii the Southern Cross Lodge. Tickets to be sold re the church anniversary concert to be held In the church on the 37th Inst,, were distributed among the members. After a good deal of discussion, it was ultimately decided tint "the date of the ladies' evening bo fixed for Thursday, the 31.st inst. This evening l.s being eagerly looked forward to. especially by the male members of ’ the Guild, and, although the ladi'*s have been very reticent about it, a's far as can be ascertained, it promises to he a tremendous success, even to the outclassing of the men's evening held some time ago. After the benediction had been pronounced by the Rev. Grigg, in adjournment was made to the bazaar.
