July IS Received July 14, 12.50 a.m. Customs and excise revenue for the twelve months in the Commonwealth, totals £12,911,987; in New South Wales £5,341,199. HEAVY EXPENDITURE PREDICTED, SYDNEY, July 13. Mr Holman, Acting-Premier, told the Farmers’ and Settlers’ Conference that two millions would be spent immediately on the duplication of railway lines, and also £410,000 in increasing accommodation in Darling harbour railway yards and £700,000 on a low level road around the foreshore of the harbour.
