THE IRISH ENVOYS

(Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 26. Mr Donovan, one of the Irish envoys, has telegraphed to Mr Martin Kennedy that the meeting at Christchurch last night was most enthusiastic and that about £250 was collected. The envoys will return to Wellington on Sunday morning. On Monday they will be entertained at a garden parly; on Tuesday they will speak at Taihapc; and on Wednesday at Ohakune, arriving in Auckland on Ist June, and addressing the first meeting there on the following day. They will speak in various parts of Auckland district, then complete their itinerary in the South Island, and leave Wellington for Home early in July.
