THE DEFENCE SCHEME.

OFFICIAL SENTOEITI' LIST. (Per United Press Association). WELLINGTON, March 21. Following is the seniority list of new officers and non-commissioned officers of the New Zealand staff corps and permanent staff who lately passed out from the camp .at Featherston. They arc on probation for a period of six months from the date on which they first joined the camp. Their seniority has been determined mainly by the result of examinations held in camp, but age, previous service, and former seniority have also been taken into consideration, and allowances have been made for those officers who did not have the opportunity of being in camp for the whole period. New non-com-missioned officers take rank next to the old instructional staff.
