BAGDAD RAILWAY.

The Porte has agreed to allow the Bagdad Railway Company to extend the line to Bagdad, fhe company renounces a lien of 4 per cent, on increase of Customs duties, receiving instead security upon the Umpire’s general revenues. The company will build a branch line from Osmaueh to Alexanciretla and construct a harbour at Alexandretta. Reuter’s Constantinople correspondent reports that the company lias agreed to the Porte arranging for construction of the Bagdad-Persian Gulf section of (he line on the basis that Germany shall have equal participation with any foreign Power.
