It is therefore one of the longestestablished flocks in New Zealand, and throughout the 33 years’ of its existence, great care has been taken to maintain the purity, quality and constitution of the Flock. In 1906 Mr Rodger imported at considerable expense two Rams from Mr A. Finn, Kent. England, namely, “Westbroke, No. 84 of 1905” and “Westbroke, No. 78 of 1905,” and these have been used during the seasons 1907-1910. The demand for purebred Romneys was nev.er more active than at present. The prices realised for Stud and Flock Rams at the Wairarapa Sales held recently were phenomenal, and tire demand as far as can b.e forecasted is likely to remain keen for a considerable time. The Sheep advertised will be sold to the highest bidder and all those interested in purebred Romneys are therefore strongly recommended to attend the Sale of the Birchwood Flock. The Flock Sheep are strong constltutloned, big framed and well-woolled Romneys and Romney Crosses, and both farmers and pastoralists with tussock country will find them good doers. 22 CLYDESDALE MAKES AND GELDINGS, comprising—--15 MARES. 3 years to S years old. 1 MARE, aged. 1 GELDING. 3 year old. 6 GELDINGS, aged (good fresh sorts). -| n LIGHT MABES AND GELDXNGS, comprising—--1 5-year-old MARE. 1 6-year-old GELDING. 6 Unbroken MARES and GELDINGS 4 BROOD MARES, with foals at foot by “Golden Vein."
