Quite a noteworthy event in locai tennis is to take place on the Invercargill courts on Saturday week when the first interprovincial match between Otago and Southland will be placed. Twelve players are coming down from .Dunedin and the strongest Southland team that cats be got together will be matched against them. Great interest is being taken in the event locally. There will be tref admission to the courts.
