PLAGUE IN CHINA.

The Legation doctors consider the present outbreak of plague the most contagious and virulent i:i the world's history. There have beer, scarcely any recoveries, and the Yersin serum has been used without effect. The ' plague is spreading rapidly towards Hankau. Twenty-six bodies were found on the railway south of Tientsin. There is an exodus of foreign women and children from Peking. The epidemic was propagated by Chinese hunters, who shipped fur to Vancouver. A hundred foreign experts are urgently needed to cope with the epidemic.
