The Committee report:— (fi) Having instructed the Town Engineer to construct tv sample concrete horse drinking trough for use in the streets, with provision for drinking water for dogs. (7) Having considered the communication from the District Land Registrar with' reference to the street boundary fronting Air Rennie’s in Gala street, East Invercargill and recommend that tiie Registrar be informed that tiie Council cannot see its way to consent to any alteration in the present fence line. (S) That a very objectionable open drain exists in Bowmont street extension and recommend that the Engineer’s suggestion to pipe In flie whole distance of nineteen chains at an estimated cost of £SO bo given effect to. i
