TO FORTIFY PANAMA
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright.) NEW YORK, Jan. 22. President Taft, speaking here, expressed the hope that Congress would promptly vote a million sterling for fortifications on the Panama Canal. He wcfuld bring all his influence to bear on both Houses.
