A tram with G2 colliers aboard broke away down an incline at King's Wood, Bristol, and dashed to the bottom, three Of the occupants of the car being fatally and 17 severely injured. (Per United Press Association).' NAP I Kit. Nor. IS. A man named William Cranny, aged 71, for many years in the local branch of the Bank of New Zealand, was accidentally killed to-day. He was cleaning the outside of a window on the second Storey,' when the sash cord to which he was holding broke and he fell bnckxiartls to the ground sustaining internal Injuries and fracturing his hip Joint. He was removed to the hospital, but died shortly afterwards. A D a.m. yesterday (Friday) Mr Mortimer Hlslion, the well-known farmer of Centre Ekiah. was working with a young draught mare, and upon his getting too close the animal lashed out, striking him heavily on the right shin and causing a compound fracture of the leg. 'Dr Gow was called in and he set the li'nb. The accident will incapacitate Mr Hishon for some weeks. —Winton correspondent.
