There was a large attendance at (he Zlalandia Hall last evening, when Fuller's inatig; rated their seventy-sixth weekly change of programme. Scenic moving representations were given prominence, and "A Motor Ride Through the Gorges" (with some stereoscopic effects), "Sw -dish Canals." and "In the. Vicinity of Laos States" (a South-east Asian picture, delicately tinted, and containing a beautiful sunset effect) were keenly enjo-.ed. To readers of Jules Verne's wonderful stories, "Alichael Strogoff" appealed strongly, with its Siberian setting of landscape, Russian oliicials and Tartars, and powerful dramatic interest, and it w;is received with high favour. "An Indian Chief's Generosity." another American Wild West ■arama, proved as interesting as any of its predecessors, and conjured up an idea of the Red man's domestic ideals and humane passions. Of the other Dims, "The Angel of Dawson's Claim." a touching sketch ol child life, and "The Wav of the World," a picture sermon reminiscent of Hail Caine's work "The Christian." proved equal favourites. Well-designed stories of love and adventure in strange lands are always welcome, and of such was "Lieut. Rose and the Gun-runners." This naval hero of 1 rompt acti.m and extreme daring is no slrtmger on the screen, and, as on previous occasions, he won the approval of his audience by his manner of carrying cut his dutv and at the same time saving the lad-- of his choice from abduction. The great annual equine show held at Olvmpia. London, is familiar to all, if on'lv in name, and "The Coaching Marathon" conveys a striking impresf ; on of one of the most interesting sidelights. The doings of the outlaws among Wombat Ranges are familiar to all, but the stirring exploits of the Kcllys in 'their unequal war against society will easilv bear repetition, especially through ihe medium of the tine series of pictures which have been specially taken for "Hip .Messrs "MacMahon by Johnson and Gibson, of Melbourne, who got local colour by placing the actors ot. the very ground where the scenes actually took place. The spools devoted to the Kcllys occupy the best part of the second half of the programme, the first portion being devoted to a collection of miscellaneous pictures entirely new to lnvercargill. including a couple of masterpieces from the well-known American Biograph Company, and some really laughable comedies. The box plans are now open at Eillicrap, McNaughton and Co.'s. where seats may be booked without extra charge.

The patronage at the Clyde, street rink yesterday in the evening was large, and Ihe session was a particularly enjoyable one. To-day, Hie rink will be open for the usual three sessions, while at G. 30 p.m. another carnival grand march rehearsal will he held.
