At a sale of racehorses in training, yearlings, ami brood mares, in the estate of the late Mr .). B. Williamson, of Ellerslie, the whole 22 lots offered were sold, realising 1805 guinea-s, an average of a fraction over 78 guineas each. The highest price for yearlings was 295 gns for Condamine. by Soult Katherine Gordon, bought by Mr Pattulo. of Wanganui : Royal Irish, by Soult Asthore (a yearling half brother to the steeplechaser Irish) brought 210 gns, Mr JI. Mackenzie, of Mangere. being the purchaser. The brood mare Allannah. with foal at foot by Soult. and stinted to Hie same sire, sold for 225 gns to Air George Currie, of Wanganui. Cninisselta. by Cuirassier, was purchased by Air It. Dueler for 160 gns.
