ENTERTAINMENTS.
PULLEBS’ PICTURES. The current programme of pictures at Zealandia Hall was shown on Saturday afternoon and evening to large crowds of people who showed every sign of satisfaction with the subjects and the production of the pictures. The selection taking it all through is one of the strongest yet shown in Invercargill by Messrs Fuller and Sons. Such splendid items as “Wild Birds in their Haunts,” "Faust,” “Trip through Jersey,” ‘Herring Fishing,” “Cocoa-nut Plantation," and “Dutch Types and Head-dress” cannot fall to be Interesting and edifying and there are indications that this fact has already been appreciated. The same programme will be shown this evening.
ABISTO PICTUBES. The old programme of Aristo Pictures was shown for the last time on Saturday night after a successful week. The usual change will be made this evening. The programme contains several promising subjects, including "Watermeet,” “Motor Car through South Devon,” “Rights pr Venice,” “A Moonstruck Matador” (a coloured trick film), and a strong assortment of dramatic and comic pictures.
