SYDNEY, March IS.

, A rich strike of gold in the Long Tunnel mine, Gundagai, is reported. From a quarter of a ton of ore the prospectors dollied eighty ounces of gold.

MELBOURNE, March 18

A prospector named Bernard unearthed a 128-ounce nugget at Pennyweight Flat, Ballarat. His brother was with him till a few days ago, but left, as he was unable to make a living.
