ENTERTAINMENTS.

WIDE WO BED PICTUBES. There whs a good attendance at thA Zealandia HaU last night to see the weekly change of Wide World Pictures. The programme opens promisingly with ‘‘The Della of the Nile,” a picture that shows in realistic detail the attractive Oriental scenes for which that portion of Egypt is famous. One of the features of this film is the instructive representation that is given of the cultivation of the rice plant. “The Mohawk’s Ring” is an interestingly shown Indian sketch, while some beautiful effects are produced In "The Glories of Sunset.” A picture of the Informative type that is so popular with patrons of the biograph is called “Logging in Sweden,” while “Jersey, the Land of Sunshine,” gives some delightful views of that charming island in the English Channel. A notable item of the second part of the programme is a cinematograph summary of Rider Haggard’s popular story of “She, ' the representation produced giving an interesting and satisfactory outline of the story. The other pictures comprise comic and dramatic sketches all of which wore well received. The clearness and steadiness of each item are characteristics of the mechanical production that are entirely creditable to the operator and electri. cian, Mr W. Holstead. The same pro gramme will be repeated this evening.
