SCHOOL COMMITTEE ELECTIONS
MONDAY, 36th APRIL. OTAUTAU. The annual meeting was attended by about twenty householders, The secretary (Mr Robertshaw) read the balance-sheet, which showed that the receipts were £7S 7s 3d, and expenditure £7l, leaving a credit balance of £2 odd. The following committee were elected;—E, Robertshaw (secretary), E. Archdale, G. Swap, A. Bulman, A. Mills (chairman), E. Labatt, J. Dickson. LIMEHILLS. At the meeting of householders nine rolled up to elect a committee. The balance-sheet was read, showing a substantial credit balance of £25 9s lOd. The following committee were elected : Donald McDonald (chairman), Wm. Stewart (sec. and treas.), T. S. Nichol. J. Bromley, A. McNaught, L. Cody, H. Gibbs. WAIANIWA. The meeting of householders in this district was sparsely attended. Accounts showed a small credit balance. The following are the new committee: Messrs W. E. Carter (chairman), F. R. Boyd (sec. and treas.). Rev. A. Kirkland. A. McLean, H. Hunter, T. Cull, and XV. Kennard.
