The Tyser liner Whakarua sailed yesterday at 9 a.m. for Lyttelton. The Union S.S. Co.'s strainer Whangape arrived yesterday afternoon from Newcastle with 300 ions coal for 'Mill and Co., and balance of coal and Umber for Dunedin. The G.s. Hinemoa went to Waipapa lighthouse on Tuesday but found the sea too rough to land stores. She therefore went again yesterday and returned to port in the afternoon. She goes -.o Stewart Island to-day.
