The Union Company - * tug Terawhitl left Wellington this evening for Westport to assist In relaunching tho stranded steamer Taviunl. Tho tug is taking extra heavy hawsers to take the strain of a strenuous pull. villi's IN TROUBLE. SYDNEY. April 29. The cargo steamer Age, bound from Port Piri to Sydney, lost her propeller while 130 miles from Sydney. She covered 90 miles under sail, when she was picked up the steamer Arawatta and toweil to Sydney. .i lifeboat was picked up off Port Stephens belonging to the barque Crlffle, which sailed on Monday for South American ports.
