WARRANT OUT FOR CALDWELL

LONDON, Dec. 15. The evidence for the prosecution in the Druce case has closed.
The Central News Agency states that a warrant has been issued for tiie arrest ot Caldwell f o r conspiracy and perjury. It has been found that hj" started for America on Thursday, unknown to the police despite tiie fact that his London resident was watched.

The Wairarapa Standard office at Grey town has iteen gutted by fire. The printing machines and the stock of paper and type have all been practically destroy ed. No information as lo hovv the fire started can be ascertained. The office was left by the last employee at about ten minutes before the alarm was given. The insurance is £750. Tiie proprietor, MV T. McCracken, will be a heavy loser.
