NEW DAIRY FACTORY AT WTXTON. A meeting of those interested in the formation of a new dairy factory at Winton wa,s held on Thursday night in the Athenaeum. About fit) farmers were present. After a considerable amount of discussion., it was finally decided to erect a two-vo;tj cheese, factory, in a central position. Mr Wearn, representing Messrs Mason, Struthers and Co., Ltd., was present, and gave full information ns to the cost of the complete factory, handed over in wottdng erder. After the general meeting, a meeting of directors was held, the chair being occupied by Mr Coster. Tills meeting continued on to the small hours of the mc.Tninjg. Finally it was decided to accept Messrs Mason, Struthers and Cc.'s tender for the complete plant, the wjhole to he handed o-ver is working order in about eight wests fc«u tat*. I
