Per United Press Association. DUNEDIN, April 17. Sheep.—There was a heavy yarding in this line, consisting principally of medium quality wethers ewes, with a fair proportion ot prime wethers. Prices can bo quoted on a par with last week's rates. Quotations ; Best wethers 21s to 23:;, one extra heavy pen brought 20s, good 18s Gd to 20s, medium 13s to 16s. best ewes 17s Gd to 10s. extra to 20s, good 12s Gd to lls Gd. medium 7s 6d to 12s. Lambs—ll6B penned. Tho quality was not up to that of last week, but prime lambs met with keen inquiry. while medium quality (oi which the yarding chiefly consisted) were easier. Quotations ; Best lambs 15s to 18s. good 12s to 14s. medium 9s Gd to 11s Gd. small is to 9s. Pigs.—272 yarded. Stores especially wore in largo supply and the market for them was au exceptionally good one, all lines being cleared at an advance of about 3s on last week's prices. Porkers and baconers were also in full supply. <■'' etations : Suckers Ss to 12s, slips 14s to 16s Gd, stores 19s to 255, largo baconers 44s to 50s. heavy to £3 12s Gd, porkers 32s to 395. Fat cattle.—Prices wore on a par with last week's values. For medium quality there was only a moderate demand. Best bullocks £9 10s to £lO 10s. good £-8 15s, light £5 12s Gd to £7 10s. good heifers £1 10s to £6 10s, cows £3 to £4.
