A new agreement has been drawn up and will probably bb signed by the slaughtermen amd the freezing companies in a few days. In this it is provided, the men, explain, that 23s a hundred shall be paid for killing ; two shillings an hour will be paid for waiting time/ and work performed on Saturday froui 12 o’Clock until 4 p.m. will be paid at the rate of time and a quarter. . Otherwise the agreement is very much the same as the award which recently expind.
