An electric train on the New York Central Railway fell over an embanks ment in Croax Park. Fifty passengers were killed and many injured. The wrecked cars took flro. , TOO QUICK AT A: CURVE. NEW YORK, Feb. ' 18.' Received 18th, 9.55 p.m. The accident was apparently duo to the high-speed in going round a curve causing the rails to spread. Th<? cars overtiirited find fell on their sides. The couplings' Still held, and some of the coaches were dragged for a furlong. Many of the passengers fell through the windows and were crushed between the car and permanent way. Others were electrocuted by coming into contact with a'live wire.
